How We Got Here

Drinking: Blueberry and hibiscus Topo Chico. I do not know who decided flowers belonged in sparkling water, but I am listening.
Current read: Lonesome Dove, and I fear I understand the hype. Lovingggg it.
Watching: Sullivan's Crossing. It is okay right now, which somehow has not stopped me from continuing.
Can't stop thinking about: How badly I want a natural tan, and how Tennessee is currently making outside feel like a personal attack.
Looking forward to: Relaxing, prioritizing rest and wellness, and trying not to turn those into another assignment.

I’ve always been the girl writing things down. Notes in my phone, half-finished thoughts, and stories I was not done carrying around yet.

Write Up Your Allie is where I keep the pieces that make up a life: home, animals, starting over, relationships, Tennessee, good books, strange little realizations, and the kind of moments that feel too specific to throw away.

It is not a highlight reel. It is closer to opening a drawer and finding receipts, photos, a dog toy, and one sentence that explains a whole year.
